    Im trying to make a constructed wetland sound innovative for a presentation i have to do next week!

    Any ideas on how to make it sound innovative?

    From my experience these things are well received in theory but fall on life cycle ie upkeep

    Deal with that. Most people know these things work if looked after but the big problem is they arent looked after and tend to fail.

    Look at the UK and Germany as examples. They have a lot of examples of how things do work like swales, working attenuation. Try and combine these practices with out construction practices.

    In the real world county councils encourage them but there planners reject them. Its a big mess
