UPC Subscription Oddities

    Ok this is a strange one but last night after about 2am I had access to most if not all channels on my UPC digital service.

    I'm only subscribed to the value pack but even though the channel said 'you are no subscribed to this channel' I could access practically everything bar the odd discovery channel and a few sports station.

    Hell I could even watch the PPV porno channels!

    Left the box tuned to a channel I wasn't subscribed to but when I woke up this morning it was back to displaying the usual 'You are not subscribed to this channel' bluescreen.

    Just wondering if anyone else noticed this last night and was it some kind of technical hitch on UPC's network?

    my UPC box downloaded a software update last night automatically at about 1.00am, maybe it had something to do with that.

    Possibly. I never noticed anything about a software update...
