Slovenia - travel ideas?

    I want to head to slovenia in august and am looking for ideas. has anyone ever done anything interesting and exactly how expensive did it work out. any help would be appreciated?

    Slovenia is great, one of my favourite places in europe so far, ljubljana is a nice small city, but bled and the surrounding region is amazing. Depending on how long you are there for you could head down to croatia too or even across to italy.

    Slovenia's great. Prices are about 2/3rds of Ireland.

    I would go back to Bled for the Creme Slice's alone. Most delicious desert ever. Havent been there for about 17 years and it still looks fantastic.
    Really nice in winter as well. Used to ice skate on that lake in winter time!!
