    Hi,
I am doing a presentation for a college project and it involves finding the cost of starting up a new airline, something similar to Ryanair.
I have included the following headings:

    Aircraft –
    Labor-
    Fuel-
    Spares & Parts-
    IT services-
    Networks-
    Airport Equipment-
    Airport Handling Services-
    Sales Distribution-
    Catering-
    Training-
    Aviation Insurance-

If someone could fill in the rough/average cost beside each of the headings I would really appreciate it.!
    Thanks,
    Ricky

Good luck with that my friend. All of that comes under the 'How long is a piece of string' category. Because it all depends................How many aircraft, new or used. leased or bought. type of aircraft, type of service. Everything flows from that.

Your question is far too broad. You'll need to be more specific and probably this is not the forum to answer the question anyway.

Only looking for very rough guesstimates.!!
Just for a company that would compete with Ryanair or someone similar

Well why not get some accurate figures? Here's Ryanair's annual report for 2009

    http://www.ryanair.com/doc/investor/2009/Annual_report_2009_web.pdf

I'd say a lot of what you need is right there broken down nicely for you. Compare with other airlines' annual reports, Easyjet, Aer Lingus etc and you can soon get a handle of the costs.
