Anyone know where I could get my hands on an AXP Engine for a Golf, Bora or Leon

    I am after finding out I need to get a new engine for my car. Its an 1.4 AXP Engine for a VW Golf or Bora, or a Seat Leon 2001.

    I have tried a few breakers today but nothing yet.

    Any help appreciated

    It wasn't piston ring failure was it? Golfs are known for this when they pass over the 80k mark.

    Try donedeal or gumtree or Traynors up the north.

    Its a number of problems and I need to get the whole thing repleaced.

    Will give Traynors a call in the morning sure and see if they can help. Thanks for the reply

    Could you get the engine reconditioned? There is a crowd in Lansbrough in Longford who specialise in engine repairs. I got my head for my punto skimmed while I waited there today. It only cost just over sixy euro and was done in less than an hour!
