How do i get out of paying ryanair an adminstration fee?

    hi i've heard you can use a prepaid card to pay for flights to avoid paying excessive fees how do i get one as ryanair want to charge me 20 adminstration fee, thanks

    They don't charge fees if you pay with vouchers but the vouchers only come in multiples of 25 and if you don't use the full €25, you lose the balance.

    See this thread for a list of gift cards that work as Prepaid MasterCard and hence attract no Ryanair fees.

    I see the OP's location is Cork... before forking out money for a gift card, make sure to read up on people's experiences with different cards. The Dublin one that you can get at most shops in the city works. The ones you get in Cork seem not to work :(.

    The card I think you are speaking of is called a 3V Card, its like a credit card except you have to top it up first.
    Go to 3V.ie (from memory) or just google 3V - Irish Pages.

    3V works. As does Wirecard. But both cost money to get/top up. If you get the right kind of gift vouchers instead, the fees and charges are exactly zero.
