I need one in a hurry, I can get a Iomega Screenplay delivered from Ebay for eur150. Anyone know of any good deals in the shops around Dublin. Not necessarily an Iomega either. Anyone have any good recomendations?

Same hard drive in carphone warehouse is €160.Extra tenner but if you're in a hurry you'll have it today!

Also, why particularly a 'multimedia' type external? Surely you could just use Media centre or its equivalents if hooking it up to a PC...

A multimedia external hard-drive is more than just more a harddrive, u can hook it straight into your TV and play. More than just a ext hd

i got a cyclone hd 1tb from sumvision and it was at my door within 4 day for 130 it has a hdmi output and a usb connection at the front and you can use it to record off the tv to it plays most thing except mkv which is a bit annoying as it is becoming popular

there is also a cheaper 1tb cyclone box i had this one to great box and easy to use and never gave me any trouble butit uses composite lead ie red white yellow connections
