    Hi.
i am a 5' 8" male and a medium frame. currently weigh 12stone 4. i seem to be getting a lot of conflicting ideal weights for my size on the internet. I've lost ten pounds and im determined to keep going but any ideas to what my ideal weight should be. I was thinking 11st 10. some sites say 11stone but this would seem too thin to me.
    thanks

I looked in to the site below before, it gives you an ideal weight (bmi) based on people of your height and weight i.e what the majority are happy with

    Bunch of arse tbh.
You need to measure body fat (buy some calipers) as opposed to BMI crap. I'm actually almost obese according to the BMI and I have a sixpack.
10 stone lol I was that when I was sixteen and whip thin.

We're around the same height, and looks like we started around the same point. Think i was between a half a stone and a stone heavier when i started out.

I'm sitting between 67 - 70 kgs at any given time now. so between 10.5 - 11 stone.

If you are stripping fat, dont be suprised if you need to go back quite a bit further then you first anticipated.

I'd say don't worry about your weight but keep an eye on your waist line.

the BMI is hard to fathom alright.. i suppose to aim for initial goal would be alright and reevaluate at that point.. im also doing light weights so hopefully that would turn some fat into muscle.
    thanks
