I'm looking for a bit of friendly advice. I have two chickens about 1 week now and I am hoping they will start to lay eggs very soon. I was just wondering if it is better to have straw or sawdust in the nest boxes. The area where they sleep is covered in sawdust and so is the nest boxes at the mo. The problem is they keep pooing in the nest box.
    Any tips or hint????????
