    hello all,

Im looking to buy a new driver in the coming weeks/months, but in the meantime i need to get my swing analysed to see what shaft, loft, etc suit me, i also want to try a few drivers to see which is best for me, preferrably in a driving range or a very good similator.

Can anyone suggest a few places that I can try?
Somewhere that will not make me commit to buying a new club there and then, im quite willing to pay for service and if the price is right i can come back and buy the driver..

Taylormade Supertri and Superfast are the drivers i am looking at for now, but open to other options.

    thanks in advance.

Try David Keating @ Killarney GC, I got custom fit for irons and woods there last year and level of service is excellent.

The SuperTri is the best looking club i've seen in a long, long time. The price tag is frightening though.

Where are you based Conor J?

Stay away from Nevada Bobs in Dundrum, the American guy won't let you browse in peace and will tell you loads and loads of stories!

He is a bit of a Character alright, but if you ask him to let you be, he will, i know people who swear by him and don't mind his stories, as other threads on this forum prove its horses for courses. Like the guy in Mcgurks 1 member of the forum swears by him and another thought he was the worst in the world.

sorry lads, was out and about and not near a pc yesterday afternoon and eve. I live near Bray, but I often travel up to Cavan and Navan, and also down through Wicklow. Dublin is where i was considering really for swing anaylsis as its where i am mostly.

Bugger, there were a few Taylor Made demo days around Dublin last week. Can't see any more scheduled any time soon.

I think the McGuirks website flags some of them. Not sure if the Taylor Made site will have a full list.

I recommend Foregolf in Naas/Newbridge(I live in Blessington so it's close by for me though not for yourself really). Great lads and sorted my clubs out for me at a very reasonable price.

McGuirks in Blanch & Kinsealy both do fittings, cost €30.

Also pretty sure American Golf in Tallaght are currently doing free fittings?

I suppose both of them use a simulator?
Are they really any good, or would you be better to stick to hitting them on a range?
