    fight will never happen

    http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/boxing/2929757/David-Haye-says-Klitschko-brothers-should-fight-each-other.html

Haye trying to say the Klitchkos should fight each other before fighting him.

Basically I read this article to and think he wasn't expecting such a reaction and now he's Sh1tting himself

Fight wont happen, not if Haye retires when he plans to.

I think he knows he will not beat either of the brothers and is looking for a huge payday before he retires.

His manager (Haye's) was on Sky Sports News yesterday stating that it must be 50/50 before the fight goes ahead.

I think you might see him fight Holyfield or Sexton next.

    That makes no sense.
The only way he'll get a huge payday is by fighting one of the brothers !!

Mark my words, Haye will fight one of the brothers within the year and it'll be far from the foregone conclusion so many non-thinkers believe it to be.

The video made by Wlad although cheesy in a Tiger Woods way - does send out a shut up or put up dig to Haye.

The fight will happen imo by the end of 2010/start of 2011.

Haye can't fight Harrison because lets be honest here - It would be a mauling that does nothing for good for Haye's legacy.

The only way forward now is to try to defeat the Klitschko bros, Wlad for me is the first step, if Haye can then defeat Vitali, then for me he will be the best Heavy-weight since Lewis imo.

Interesting times ahead, as I said, the only way forward is to fight the Klitschkos.

60/40 in Klitschkos favour , in germany ...... with Wlad putting his belt collection on the line .

    sounds fair to me !

Its a decent opportunity for Haye , The brothers have looked excruiciatingly boring over the last while .
Their victorys can be attributed to their natural body size , more than their individual ability .

Wlad's also been dropped before , and this gives Haye something to become enthusiastic about .

There will be a stretched out haggling session in the works , but the fight will get signed off eventually

    sounds about right,

when you think about it, Wlad is putting 2 belts up, he deserves the home town crowd and the extra few bob!

i think this'll happen myself, i certainly hope so anyway

i cant see Haye beating either brother though,

the easties dont get even close to enough credit than they deserve

Haye gets hit too easily, and Wladi particularly has an amazing jab, he'll jab Haye into submission!

I think Haye's defense will be the best it has ever been because quite simply he knows it'll have to be because otherwise he'll be looking up at the ceiling in a daze after only a couple of rounds. If Haye lands the first meaningful punch i can see him stopping Wlad. I believe he has the speed and ability to do just that by getting in and out without having his head jabbed off by Wlad.

Cheesier than a block of kilmeaden but thats a proper call out!
Fight will happen, I wouldnt mind if haye had a fight in the meantime, say july and wlad did the same (vitali fights in may). With all this treading water and dancing around each other its no wonder the likes of holyfiels, hopkins and sexton are in the mix for world title shots (seen that sexton is shortlisted as an opponent for holyfield in the summer.)

Could Vitali be first up for Haye? http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=26886

Underestimate Haye all ye want but there's no doubt in my mind he'll beat Wladimir,Vitali on the otherhand will be a much tougher fight if it happens.

Wlad is far more cautious looking in the ring, I think he'll take Haye, solely because he won't get stuck in, just keep jabbing away at him... like mentioned earlier it's his natural size that's dictating his domination... and he has more than enough power to beat Haye, especially considering Haye had little to no defense in his last fight.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but all of a sudden people are talking about Haye's defence like it's Gatti-esque.

Haye does NOT get hit very often, which is good for him as his whiskers aren't exactly top notch. He has excellent head movement and good footwork which add up to a boxer that's hard to hit.

Maybe people are mixing up 'hands low' with 'bad defence' when they are two different things. Roy Jones was one of the best defensive boxers ever and his hands were always low. Micky Ward always kept his hands high, but...

Ruiz punches were sailing through at will the other night, maybe it was cockyness by haye, but he was tagged a lot. do that against Wlad and it's an impossible fight to win. Especially as Wlad just flat out wont get hit for most of the fight.

Exactly, if Ruiz could get shots in, Wlad will definitely tag Haye will amazing frequency.

Haye's best defensive tool is his movement and footwork; after this, he has little else, as in high guard or in the pocket style defense. I wouldn't call his defence bad, but it's not very good either. 7/10....

i think it was complacency. he knew he had the measure of Ruiz and was trying to put on a show. i think he'll be a lot better defensively against Wlad because as we all know he'll be on the canvas quick smart if he isn't.

He said himself after the Ruiz fight that his defence wasn't up to scratch that night and he'd work on making it better.

IMO, if he fights either of the Klits he will be 100% sure that his defence is where it needs to be to stop the jabs constantly catching him, he has the speed to do it.
