Ryanair Dublin to Baden cancelled?

Does anyone know what the story is with this route?

I tried to book earlier and it said no flights were available.

I looked again now and Baden isn't even on option to fly to.

Hope it didn't get the chop. I travel on this route regularly and it seems quite busy.

Was part of the cuts for the summer. Finished up at the start of the summer schedule which was March 28th as far as I remember. Its still on the route map for some reason... Bit of a pain. I wanted to travel there myself.

Ryanair have also cut routes to Tampere, Lubeck and Weeze recently.

They've just added that route to the Kerry Airport schedule.

I know. Probably because Duesseldorf is already served by Aer Lingus and Germanwings (who fly into Cologne-Bonn but it's closer to Duesseldorf than Weeze, and easier to get from).

Ryanair have very recently started at Memmingen which is just the other side of the black Forest region which is handier for Ski resorts and also is nearish Munich which is one of the biggest tourist destinations in Germany.
This probably has a lot to do with it.

It's a pity that destination isn't available from Kerry:(.

The various post-boom route cut-backs have played havoc in these parts. In the good old days you could fly to Prague from Cork, until Aer Lingus pulled the plug. It was just about bearable driving 80 miles to Cork to get on a plane, but now a 200 mile trip to Dublin Airport for a direct flight is out of the question.

Its mostly to do with the ongoing dispute with the DAA, yields and loads to Baden were fine. Loads to Memmingen are much much worse, probably because nobody knows where the heck it is (Well, laypeople anyway)

Kerry to memmingen is possible. The sister in law did it via a 2 hour stopover in dublin with ryanair and the 2 flights together only came to 55 euro or something.

I dunno if the memmingen flight suddenly got noticed, but if the prices are anything to go by at the end of May, their loadings to Dublin seem to be on the way up!
(although they have cut the number of flights from daily to 3 a week so maybne thats also a reason)
