I'd love to catch is again as at the original time of airing I was only about 10 so probably missed alot of the jokes but do remember it was fun.

Yeah used to love this.. Had two seasons on DVD... Went to a stag to Leenane a few years ago (the weekend the bridge fell down) and David Rasche in a little pub there. Few of the lads got pictures taken with him.

Love the episode where he questions himself in the witness stand.

Sledge Hammer: Well, Miss, I was in this store when two thugs entered and threatened the owner with shotguns. At that time, I drew my Magnum and killed them both. Then I bought some eggs, and some milk, and some of those little cocktail weinies.
Reporter: Inspector Hammer, was what you did in that store absolutely necessary?

I used to love this show as a kid when ITV last showed it yeeeeeeeeeears ago, despite not understanding half the jokes!

Got the 2 seasons a few years back and think they're ace! The sister loves them too.

Strangely, though, most people I try and show it to think it's utter muck...........wouldn't know humour if it was shot into their faces by Sledges magnum!

It was a classic show. I remember seeing the guy who played sledge in a film with Tom Selleck called An innocent man where he was a vicious cop the complete opposite of the sledge character. I would love to watch sledge again, it would certainly beat most of the horsesh*t thats on now.
