    Hi,
just wondering is the deaf and dumb tailor still open for business these days. The fella beside the church. Was up to him twice last week and no sign of him!

    Thanks

The tailor retired a few weeks ago after a long time in the job.

if youre looking for alterations and things like that...i'd recommend the lady on lower abbeygate st. up from the second hand bookshop. she's really lovely, used to do alterations for a few of the mens shops in town then went out on her own. she's quick and good and not too far away from that old tailor...

    +1 to all that.

Her English isn't that great, but she understands what she needs to for alternations. And she works hard too.
