acog recommendations

    Im looking to pick up an acog for my ak but im not sure which 1.Has any1 any experience with these and what would you recommend.I dont want to spend crazy but then i dont want a light piece of crap either.

    i picked it up here on boards 2nd hand but was like new from pump if your up at hrta next week i can give you a look.

    no sorry bud wont be there.i was just checking there online.they seem fairly expensive as in for a acm model ,which wouldn't be great, there asking for 100 euro here and the g&p/G&G are all over 150 dollars.i dont think ill be forking out that much.

    I use a g&g acog I got in eirsoft for €70 bout 2 years ago great bit of kit!

    well thats more like what i was willing to pay.i suppose i cant go wrong with a G&P or a G&G then?

    They are great scopes. Mine came in a foam lined hard plastic case and has green light up cross hairs. Also is still perfect after 2 years never loses it's zero and am still on original batteries and mine has seen quite a bit of use!

    OK so im sold ,ill just fight with myself over the price for awhile or see if i can pick up one second hand.

    I got this one recently and it's excellent. Be careful to check that an ACOG you're looking at buying actually does have magnification going on - some are built with an ACOG's housing but only have a red dot and no magnification, which is obviously daft.

    thanks ill have a look.i seen the models with of the magnification,they always seem to be the cheaper models.The one you linked to is more of a price im looking to spend
