Dental Care - Costs

    Hi,
    I was reading a tread about the dental care been cut. That just about everything was been cut.
    There would be no fillings just extractions and something to deal with the pain.

    Im asking as I do need to see a dentist for a filling. But if it is left my teeth would just go to bits, so my parents would have to pay for it, even that though they cant exactly afford it as they lost their jobs

    no, and we don't know exactly when it will start. there med card budget was brought back to 2008 level, and with so many more people unemployed and using a med card, the latest rumour is that the budget will run out mid-may. but it's a rumour. we've had no official word yet.

    make an appointment asap anyway, and good luck.
