    Hi all
I am looking to buy a treadmill for running training. I have a son and find it hard to get out to run and was hoping that buying a treadmill might be a good replacement. It would need to be a fold away version as I haven't a lot of room in my apartment for it. It would need to be strong enough for me to train for marathons on it, running for about an hour most days. Nothing to expensive i was hoping for something for around €500. Is second hand a bad idea?
    Cheers

    Hi STVOC,

I have a motorised treadmill for over six months, I am told it needs periodic maintenance. Part of that maintenance is to lubricate the belt and stage.

How often does one need to do this and what type of Oil is used?

Where do you apply the oil, perhaps while the belt is travelling under the running stage.

I really would be very grateful if you can help answer any of the above.

    Sincere thanks and regards,

    John.
