Which Dreambox to get?

I'm looking at getting a Dreambox and just want to ask if anyone can give me some pointers. I'm looking to get a HD version that can also record so hard drive is a must and dual tuners would be a big plus

From what I can see, my options are the 500HD, 800HD and 8000HD. Am I right in saying that they have DVI outputs and not HDMI?

The thing is, is there really that much difference between them? Most websites selling them don't have that much info. It looks like the 8000HD has everything I need but it's a lot more expensive then the other two.

    Any advice greatly appreciated :)

If you want dual tuners then you only have one option, the DM8000. The other two don't have dual tuners, the DM800 has a removalable tuner, so you can swap out different types if you want. Both will allow you to add an internal disk and record to it. The DM500HD has a eSATA connection so an external disk may be possible (not certain though). TBH honest, if you want a dual tuner I would look at another box completely, like an Azbox, which might not have yet, but soon will run enigma2 - like the Sky HD box BTW, enigma2 on the way for that too - nice.

Yeah, Enigma2 looks like it'll be modded for the Sky HD box, fairly close to first release by the looks of it.

Well, that would be interesting but I'll believe when I see it.

Although I have a spare Sky HD box here I was going to advertise, think I might just hang onto it...
