Hi,

My Father in Law has recently gotten an Iphone from Vodafone, he loves it but is unsure where he's being charged and where he isnt. He has an eircom.net email address which I've set up for him using POP3/STMP. When he opens his mailbox, it automatically connects, and downloads his mail, once this process is complete, does the phone disconnect? If not, when he exits email (hits home button) is he then disconnected? He loves the phonebut is worried about getting his first bill!! He got it as a free upgrade on a business account

theres counters that'll tally up your network usage:

settings - general - usage

might be good for a general idea
