I plan to go to college in Dublin next year, and i would be going up/down twice a week..

IS there some sort of year railcard i can get or am i stuck with the 16-25 railcard?

Anybody know how much i can expect to save on the fare with this? It doesnt say on the application form

You have a few options (a) railcard (b) student travel card (c) monthly / annual ticket.

However, if you plan your trip, typically at least one train a train on all intercity routes has €10 single fares (internet only).

You may be aware but there is another card other than the 16-25 railcar called the Student Travel card - http://www.studenttravelcard.ie/ - this gives discount on not only Iarnród Éireann but also Bus Éireann, Dublin Bus and Luas, along with certain shops.

Also Bus Éireann will accept your college ID card but the other companies won't.
