Two iPhones; two PCs, One iTunes a/c ...

    I have a tough challenge.

    I use a 3GS which is synced only to my PC in work. My missis uses my jailbroken/unlocked 3G (on Vodafone) which hasn't synced since I jailbroke it when I upgraded - using the same iTunes a/c as the 3GS uses.

    O2 have now unlocked both phones so I want to update the software on the missis' 3G - but need to keep her messages intact. Photos and contacts I can retrieve and restore - but her message history is the trouble.

    I'm thinking if I sync it with a fresh iTunes at home it's going to wipe everything? Or will it just wipe music/photos?

    Any thoughts? :)

    It's hard to keep track of what's happening with this but if you log in to your account on which ever computer and on the top in one of the options there should be a part that says "Authorize Computer" and if you authorise your computer with the account you sync your iPhones with that should solve your problem and be able to sync your iPhone with that computer.

    Say I do that at home, will that then pull the details from the 3G into iTunes? But what happens then I sync with iTunes in work using my 3GS and the same account details?

    I guess what I really want, is to sync two iPhones in two locations using the same account. UNLESS I can get message history off one of them and add it to a new account.
