    Hi,
I am doing a duathlon end of April 10k/40k/5k and then mainly sprint triathlons. I have looked on wiggle, but I have not really go a clue what I should get. Can I use a suit for both duathlons & triathlons, my first triathlon will be pool based end of may. and I will definitely be doing an open water based one in sept. maybe more before then. So any advice appreciated

    thanks

Normal practice AFAIK, would be for a pool based triathlon to use a 'tri suit' which you leave on for all 3 disciplines (maybe throwing on a top if its breezy, rainy?), and a 'tri wetsuit' (worn over the 'tri suit') for an open water tri - the wetsuit would be removed after the swim, and the bike and run done in the 'tri suit'.

Does a tri-suit offer any buoyancy or help you with the swim in any way like a wet suit does???
