Not a rant nor a rave, but a question.

I had abfew bob (more than 50€) on King Johns Castle, horse REFUSED to run, as in it never left the stalls!
Am I entitled to a refund? Or is the bet dead?
I'm not pushed like, but if I can get my cash back why not?

Ladbrokes won't refund. They're useless so i wouldn't even bother asking them.

True but they usually would unless they have taken a lot of wagers on him.
Bookies took a bit of a beating with the result.

    Do them rightly!

I also had a tidy sum on McCoy!
Well, I felt I had to as I did go to school with the man for 10yrs or so!
Ironically his nickname in secondary school was Lester lol!

I'm gonna chance my arm for the refund though, 50€ would take Mrs Gucky and me out for some nice lunch today!

Lads & Hills never do the same refunds that Boyles & Paddy's do.

Bookies did not take a beating its the National ffs, don't believe there bull they artificially callapsed prices especially on this, it was 19s on Betfair at the off very very few professional/real punters were heavy on this. It's all lies they made massive profits again and Ladbrokes I'm sure made the most

Quite a bit off topic here but as thread is nearing its end I must mention that Pat Kenny picked KJC to win the National. Now I know dogs take after their owners, maybe horses take after their tipsters: stand there expressionless and do nothing!

    lol

    yes no chance with ladbrokes

it was under starters orders so if a bookie refunds its at their own discretion as a gesture

gestures from ladbrokes-lol, more chance of me winning the euromillions, rotten bookies

i must say i was surprised powers didnt refund, i guess they actually took real money on this one and didnt want to hand it back

ps. with a overround of 155%, the bookies did fine with the result, not great but not horrid either

the places black apalachi, state of play and big fella thanks were poor alright but it would be a case of some offices making a small bit, some losing a small bit and most about breaking even

they did not get cleaned like they would like you to think
