Hi my boyfriend and I are considering getting a ferret, but can anyone tell us if we need a licence for one? (Like a dog licence?)

I'm pretty sure you don't, but not 100% certain

You don't need a licence for them.
There's a ferret rescue that I've only recently discovered, you can find them on Facebook under Silver ferret and exotic bird sanctuary.

Even if you don't adopt from there would be one place to contact if you want to know more about them and their care.
They can be little houdinis but are so cute and cheeky.
