My brother has a router at work, and at the moment the four ports at the back are full (colleague's laptop, desktops, printer) and i was wondering is there some sort of extender that can be plugged in to one of the ports on the existng router to add extra ports?

He connects through the wireless at the moment but would prefer to plug in, and for any future needs.

Any ideas if this product is out there, thought i saw one being used at work before but that was in the old office.

    You/he could:
wifi enable the PCs that connect to the router
connect another router/switch to the first one, with appropriate IP addressing
replace the router with one with > 4 LAN ports
