    Hi,
    Hopefully a easy question:
I'm a director of my LTD company, it's a small hobby business that keeps me interested and I've not derived any income from it so far. I'm also a PAYE employee with another company but as I'm a director I'm treated under self assessment. I'm looking at filing tax for 2009 and can see there is a section for PAYE income but theres also a section for self employed income -- this section looks to me like income from sole trader / partnerships, am I right to think that no income/expenses relating to company is relevant here?

    Hi

You are correct. There should be a separate box for the salary from your company in which you are a proprietary director and your other salary.

    Kind Regards
