Pain after fillings?

    Hi,
I had two fillings done a few days ago. Since the numbness wore off, I've had pain and discomfort in both teeth and in my cheek. It's hard to describe, but it feels the nerves are sore. Just wondering if this was normal or should I contact my dentist to have it checked.
    Thanks.

    contact your dentist.
The cavities may have been deep or the fillings maybe slightly to high and need to be reduced slightly

    Thanks Davetwenty,
It doesn't seem to be painful all the time anymore, just sometimes. But I will contact my Dentist.

To be fair you've had a mini-surgical procedure carried out not a trip to the hairdresser.even if you just had an injection with no treatment you'd have some discomfort.I'd stick to paracetamol/ibuprofen if tender and contact dentist if you're worried-they wont bite only when very hungry:D
