For people heading to Limerick for either of these events over the bank holiday, it seems like there might be a bit of a tight squeeze! Judgiing from the route of the marathon and time it begins at (9am) it goes outo to UL and is on the same course as Joey Hannon bike course from 4 miles to 7 miles and then the same run course but in the opposite direction between 71/2 miles to 9 miles!!!!! No its narrow enough on this section at the best of times but with runners coming against each other I fear for a few accidents! Has anyone noticed this clash or I am a genius at pointing this out????

has already been discussed under the "great limerick run" thread. Apparently the 2 events will not overlap at any stage of the course due to timing
