I am just wondering if anyone has any experience of using Google Apps? I am thinking of using it for my business. Is it easy to set up? Is it possible for me to upload documents onto a virtual server, where they are accessible by all employees. I'd be very grateful if anyone could provide me with any information or experiences. Thanks in advance

Google Apps is relatively straight-forward to set up. It helps if you have a bit of knowledge when it comes to managing DNS records for web domains.

Once it's set up though, it's very easy to manage. After setting up, you can then upload documents to Google Docs from any account, and set them to be shared with everyone else in your domain.

DCU use it for their college e-mail system, and I also use Apps for my own domain, as the power and capabilities of GMail and the rest of Apps far outweighs that of Windows Live Admin Center.

For setting up virtual servers, backup and storage, simple scalable DBs etc., I found Amazon AWS cloud computing the best.
