I have a client that thinks that not responding to me is a viable alternative option to actually paying for services rendered....

Has anyone used a Galway based solicitor that can deal with this for me - I'm looking for one with a 'not-vague' pricing policy.

    Cheers

Bit of a misleading title :)...

I took it as ''Anyone know a Solicitor who will take a non paying client(being you)'' :D

So did I !. You need to be careful that you don't end up paying more in legal costs that you recover especially if the defendant can't pay. What is the amount ?

If you can find such a solicitor, expect to join a long queue.

It does not work any more, i tried to colect through a solicitor on a few of my bad debts, i received zero, but it cost me a bloody fortune.

theres always the option of a debt recovery agency - instead of a solicitor !

Unless the supplier is already deep up sh!t creak and is going to go bust anyway it should work. Some solicitors are just lazy

Threaten the customer through a legal letter that you will go down the stubbs gazette road(involves a court judgement, small claims court will work), and put this in bold and caps. Works a treat:D

Pick up a copy of yesterday's Advertiser, there's a regular legal advice column, yesterday's one dealt specifically with this, it could almost have been a reply to the OP's post.
