As the title suggests I'm looking into this course, currently toying between starting over my science degree and doing physics and chemistry or making the switch to engineering. Just looking for general impressions, hours etc.

I am aware that I could continue my current course and graduate with a chemistry degree then possibly do a masters in chemcical engineering but I'm unsure as to what would put me in the best position.

    Any advice and information appreciated.

No direct entry to Chemical Engineering any more, you have to do a year of common year.

    Then you specialise.

You know a few engineers, so you know what the craic is with maths and all that fun :D

I'll ask one of my friends to forward me some notes they have and I'll pass them on.

I sent you the module descriptor thingy.

My friend is in 2nd year Chemical Engineering at the moment. Like Fad already said, you do a common year and then specialize into the various Engineering disciplines. There's alot of Maths and Physics involved in 1st year. More Chemistry (Organic and Inorganic) comes into play if you choose Chemical Engineering. She's got a computer-based module aswell, learning to do Engineer-y stuff uing various programmes.

That's about all I know but I can ask her more if you've any specific questions.
