We chatted about this guy after the BHAA race in Maynooth. Not sure I like his training techniques (3 hours a day doing 5 minute loops around a graveyard) but they obviously work for him! Most significant thing for me was near the end when they summed it up that he runs about 140 miles a week in training!

Whatever his training methods or training philosophy that is both inspiring and depressing at the same time. But fair play to him and long may he continue enjoying what he loves.

About 20 a day!! So thats me sorted from now on. Anyone up for a few laps of Mount Jerome.
He certaintly believes in keeping it simple. His PB's at the shorter distance's are amazing also, a sub 40 10k in the 75-79 age group. If I ran a sub 40min 10k at 45 I'd retire happly.
