    http://www.puredarts.co.uk/categories/mccoy_stealth_darts.php

Very cheap darts here, take a look at the McCoy darts for example they have replica's of the sigma darts which are around 50-60 quid and these guys sell them for 13 pounds:eek:Flights and all other accessories are dirt cheap as well.

    Worth a look.

Will give a trip in tomorrow to get one. Is the general concensus that the Eclipse Pro is the best?

Eclipse Pro comes in 2 different boxes, one in red box is doesnt last as one in white box.....

I bought an eclipse pro in Argos about 2 years ago,it was 1 in the white box and it was 1 of the worst boards i ever had! I've been using Winmau blade 3 since and i can't complain about it but it's time to retire the current board. Judging by most people's comments on here it seems the eclipse pro is the number 1 board so i'm willing to buy 1 again. Has there been an improvement made to the eclipse pro or was i just unlucky with the 1 i bought 2 years ago?

Will the eclipse pro fit into a winmau surround?? The blade 3is very tight as it is!!

My own personal opinion is that the Eclipse Pro is getting worse,Wires falling out or off line. Bullseyes off centre and general longevity.
Winmau Blade III is the best by a mile.
The only thing that sells Unicorn is the fact we see it every time there is a PDC event televised.

Thanks for the reply 501darts. I'm going to invest in another Winmau blade 3. As i said after having an eclipse pro already i can safely say it was the worst dartboard i ever had! I've never had any problems with Winmau boards.

Bought an eclipse 3 today. Was going to keep it until my current one needed replacing but might stick it up to see how it is.

I had to pay €43 for mine in January. However this surround..

    http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/catalogId/1500002251/partNumber/0106667.htm

..was €8 cheaper when I got it a year ago so they are adding on to one what they are taking from the other ;).

That particular surround is made of foam with a cloth cover which shows up every time you ever hit it also and I sincerely doubt it would last long in a busy pub with kids messing around etc either. The more durable rubber ones would be the only choice for that job if anyone here owns a pub.

Agreed on the Eclipse pros and I might add another problem also. The nails that hold the plastic blocks that keep the number ring on the board are not long enough so after turning the board to a new T20 a few times, they will loosen and keep falling out if you handle them even slightly roughly.

Pain in the arse on a sat night when nobody has anything to hammer them back in with and it keeps coming off or wobbling about every time a dart hits the board .

The only solution for this is to pull them out when the board is new and put in longer ones. Preferably 40mm minimum.

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do with off centre bullseyes or the fact that the wires seem to come out of the sisal after a month or 2 although the light in the local pub is pretty strong and the board can be warm to the touch after a long day .

If the Blade 3 board is cheaper than the Eclipse Pro, then I reckon I will recommend the lads in the club buy one for trial purposes as our current E P is already showing signs of wear after just over a month .

They are still better than the Nodor Supabull II I only got 8 months out of last year though. Beat to death looking and I was picking more darts off the floor than out of it in the end.

I cant help but feel that the quality of dart boards has gone down in general since I took it up years ago though. I thought they used to last longer than they do now .
