Doctors to discuss recession

    I wonder will they also discuss reducing the cost of a GP visit... 5 mins with a doctor 55euro in comparison 30 minutes with a physio 50 euro! I'm sure this has been discussed to death but it annoys me with all the talk about driving costs down... this is one area that seems to be overlooked!

    Why would they reduce charges? They provide a relatively inelastic product in an industry with extremely high barriers to entry.

    Any reduction would be puely nominal and done for the sake of PR.
