swollen parotid glands

I suffer from swollen parotid glands (the large saliva glands that run roughly
from ear down along the jaw and into the neck)
I have had this since I got pregnant with my 3rd son. I have had all the test done and was told that there is nothing that can be done that I have no blockage just a sluggish ( slow) gland. I cant not explain how sore this is.the pain is like a hot needle been poked into myface all the time.
I wake up every morning with the side of my face swollen. Sometimes it goes down within a few minutes but like today it has not and I have been going about the house all day with the side of my face all swollen. I am gone to the point where I could run of the nearest cliff just to stop the pain ( term of speach not actually going to do that ) but I am really at my withs end.
Does anyone else out there have this or know of anyone that has it and if so what they did to fix it
    Thanks

go back to your doctor, explain that it is extremely painful, and find out what other options you have.

This is a medical condition - we can't give you advice on this. Sorry.
