If i could choose i'll take option No.1 or 3, but you have to ask yourself: will you watch any films on it, also and play the games or will you use external monitor/TV.

What "gaming" are you thinking of, as this will have an impact.

Option is 1 is a netbook. With a small 11.6" screen and is a lot less powerful compared to the rest. It is however lighter to carry around and would have a better battery life. But you wouldn't be gaming on it.

Out of Option 2 and 3, i would go for 3. But neither are good for gaming.

    Option 1 is a laptop.
It's a CULV dual core - not an atom so technically not a netbook.

Main issue with all of them is the gaming. The Intel graphics and ATI 4330 aren't going to cut it with respect to the latest and greatest. But I've found many games 2 or more yrs old work perfectly well with some optimizations.

Have Halo2 running here with low/med settings on mine.
    Many other games work.
All depends on the games you would like to play

Counter strike is probably about as powerful as I'll be playing. When I said "light gaming" I meant games that are easy to run rather than I won't be playing them that much.

The first option doesnt come with a dvd drive and it's €70 extra for an external one through dell so that was out.

Then my budget took a hit so option 3 was out. Yes, it's a fickle budget.

So my decision was made for me in the end... option 2
