Is it just me or is the official masters website painfully slow for everyone?

Can handle its like dial up connection! Is there any other websites giving good coverage to this tournament?..

Crap, I didn't know you could do that. Was it on any of the BBC channels that you could have clicked the red button and got this?

Anyone know if there will be early coverage tonight available like this? I think the regular BBC coverage is at 10pm.

Regular coverage starts at 9, and afaik you can watch amen corner from 5pm on the red button.

Yes, Daithi. The Amen Corner coverage starts at 3:45. Details here... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/golf/6103550.stm

I'll put up a new post about it in case people don't know.

Count to 10 before posting if PH starts finding water ok? ;)

We should maybe enjoy the BBC coverage while we can. I was reading that their deal to show The Masters runs out after this year's event.

Sky have tabled an offer apparently, which is way more than the BBC is likely to be willing/able to pay.

I can't imagine watching the Masters on anything other than the BBC.

For anyone with BCC HD they are showing coverage in High Definition there...cant wait. First time to watch some golf in HD.

    Impossible task tbf. ;)

cool little feature of the official masters leaderboard... you can play mini highlights of selected golfers on specific holes.... just as a starter b4 the main course like...

    http://www.masters.com/en_US/realtime/lb.html?ts=1270731328307&syn=&db=false&ref=www.masters.com/en_US/scores/stats/index.html&alt=

great leaderboard btw.... but no shot tracker sadly.... those patrons eh?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,286 ✭✭✭ankles

The video highlights package is pretty poor at the moment. Maybe they're getting the hang of it but the stream just isn't working for me.

Also as an NTL:( customer I don't have the red button. Any other ways of getting early coverage?

has failed to make the cut in 9 attempts right?

he's brought george gregan ( yes the aussie rugby legend ) with him this week to help him with his mental approach.... and focus correctly during big moments... bla de bla...

    hope he makes it nonetheless

Shame about Paul Caseys finish, was -3 after 14 then went triple bogey, bogey, par, double bogey.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,591 ✭✭✭✭Aidric

Oh dear. Shane O Donoghue making the players squirm with his rubbish questions once again. Surely the beeb can do better.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 480 ✭✭1916

Whats Ryan Moore wearing? looks like a collar and tie. He's playing with Nick Watney, only got a brief glimpse

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 228 ✭✭ipitydafool

What a second shot by tiger on 9, hes one of very few players who can pull of that shot perfectly

  • Subscribers Posts: 4,419 ✭✭✭PhilipMarlowe

    Tiger irons on 8 & 9... yum.

I thought he was okay with Tom Watson but my god the last question he asked Lee Westwood about himself, Tom and Manassero being high up the leader board was one of the stupidest I've heard. Lee did well to come up with any kind of an answer at all.

If RTÉ had the rights it would be some laugh to see Marty Morrissey down doing the interviews. At least you can laugh at him unlike that O'Donoghue chap who's just brutal in every word

An 83 today for +11. Bottom of the leaderboard once again.
