Well done to all those who are running in the afore mentioned marathons in the coming weeks especially as they started their programs in the Winter months and kept it up.

I find it difficult enough to put the training in during the long evenings in the run up the Autumn marathons, so fair play to those who did it in the dark!!!

Best of luck - look forward to reading reports.

Many thanks to all of you who gave me great inspiration, training tips, nutrition advice and personal experience stories to help me get through my training and feel positive about Connemara this Sunday. I owe an awful lot to you all. I hope I can return the favour to you someday.

**If you thank this post, you will be visited in the next 24 hours by the running angel, you will also be blessed with great wealth and happiness.

If you dont thank it, you will be plagued by a rare fungus between your toes that smells and looks like stilton and blue cheese, which can only be cured by thanking this post** :D

Best of luck to everyone running this weekend, hope you all acheive your individual goals and milestones.

I think I may need to take Tuesday off work to read all the race reports....so that means you all have until latest 8am Tuesday morning to post those race reports.

To all flying this weekend....put the marathon gear, garmin and runners in the hand luggage....don't know about the gels though, security might make you eat one to prove its ok.
