Sunshine and a few others are on DAB but the rest are marginal operators - Heed FM, UCB, Maria, Ri-Ra, many of them not broadcasting a lot of the time. They may show up on a scan but there's no audio when you try to tune in.

Sunshine and UCB audio quality terrible today, the only stations fit to listen to were the RTE bundle.

List of frequencies and DAB channels here, on the Irish stations link. It appears to be complete. Use the + button on the PDF to make it more readable (to state the obvious).

I've a FM/DAB/Bluetooth radio in my kitchen, I use DAB more than FM for R1, as the aerial pick up is pretty bad for Drivetime in the evenings. I also listen to Gold, Pulse and 2XM a bit, they're not bad.

Bluetooth for podcasts and spotify, FM hardly gets a look in.

Is DAB MUX2 off air or is it just on low power? Not picking it up on (admittedly not great) DAB radio in Dublin City Centre the last couple of days?

Mux 2 is the one with RiRa, Maria, Sunshine etc on it.

Mux2 is still off in Dublin at the moment, Simon.

On a side note, Mux2 has been carrying RTE Lyric for some reason for a few weeks now.

MUX2 is winding down soon. This is a bit earlier than I thought so on this occasion it could be a technical issue.

But it is closing down soon.

Does that mean the Waterford DAB trial is now over?
