Can you set a Sky plus remote control NOT to operate a HD Box?

I have both my SD Sky plus box and HD box in same location and am wondering if anyone knows is it possible to set the Sky Plus remote so it will only operate that box and NOT the HD Box? thanks

Actually, I believe the new version of the sky plus remote is ver. 8 (Blue buttons as opposed to green buttons on the older version). Does anyone know if the older version(ver.6 i think)also works the sky hd box or not?

I'd say some magic with polarizing glass would be the way to go.

Place the glass horizontal on one receiver, vertical on the other.
Place a piece across the top of the remote, and rotate it 90° to use either.

Worth testing.
