    Hi my logitech wireless mouse cursor is sliding all over the place. Very difficult to do anything on the computer with this. Everything seems clean. Any suggestions on how to stop it running away all the time.
    Thanks :eek::eek:

    You using it on a shiny surface?

    Have you tried adjusting it through the control panel and the motion setting?
    What version of windows are you using?

    try on another surface.
    Use another USB slot.
    Reload drivers

    Could it be the mouse itself at fault? Does it work okay on anothe computer?

    Had a similar problem at work not long back. In the end found that the scroll wheel was stuck due to some dirt of something like that, so the cursor was moving away to the direction it was stuck. After releasing the wheel, I give it a couple of nice nice but gentle bumps on the mousepad and since then its behaving nicely :D

    Try that it may do the trick.

    Thanks for the advice. Using windows XP. Tried various surfaces, little improvement on wood but still only slides. Also re-connected mouse but little improvement!!

    Ok. In the "Control Panel" there should be a mouse icon.
    Double-click and check the motion setting. Adjust as necessary.
