A similar thing happened to me two years ago and I had to pay them one weeks worth in cash in the welfare office. I guess in your case they are probably so swamped they have forgotten or it is in a mega to do list somewhere. I think you should pay it back as it will makes things smoother if you ever need to sign on in future.

You are supposed to tell them of any changes in circumstances, after I quit that job later (health reasons) I waited two weeks in the hope a job would come up somehwhere before signing back on again and never got any payment for the two weeks I was jobhunting due to my failure to notify them of my situation.

Not sure if they will bother to track you down if it was just one payment:rolleyes:.
That said I would suggest going to them to sort it now as you don't want that to come back and bite you at a later date.;)

You'll more than likely get a kick in the rocks when you go in to sign on again (if you need to that is).

Call em up, get a name etc, keep all that info and if they dont get back to you, say nothing, if you get a kick in the rocks, make sure you have that info to hand.

If you don't pay it back, they will deduct it from any payment you get in the future.
