    Fergal White, Athlone town.

He is working on a few small things for me, and gave me a time frame of a week or less. Can't argue with that.

Fergal Whyte's been superb to chat to about projects I have in mind, is very up front about your ideas and what he'd do differently and why. Really genuinely excellent guy to talk with, and from what I've seen, I'd happily trust him to build a rifle for me. Top notch stuff.

    +1 on Fergal White:cool:

He's been doing some minor work for me in the last week or two and has been a great help.

Full of advice (Learn something new every time I chat to him) - And importantly, he won't sell you something you won't need. In fact, I get the impression he'd rather let you walk away, than set you wrong.

A gentleman - Great for the chat. And he does tasty work (and quickly - none of this "ah sure it will be a while" lark). When I get round to changing my barrel, tweaking the rifle, or going all-out for the custom-build TR, etc., Mr. White is the man I'll be talking to! In the meantime, I'm happy to have him do any and all work needed to my rifles.

I often call up to him whenever Im in Athlone. Ill never be the biggest client he'll ever have because Id never be in the market for anything serious along with the fact that I only do a small bit of stalking and my shot is only just OK.

Even though I only ever call in for a quick hello Im always treated as though I was a huge customer. Even if he's busy he always has time for me and Im sure he's like that with everyone. A really good and genuine person. Theres no one else like him out there.
