Now the Irish Open is over, can poker get back to normal?

At Voodoo our regular Tuesday game is our €25 deep and steep freeze out.
6000 starting stack with 15 minute clock, blinds start at 25-25.
Registration opens from 7;30pm with the game starting at 8;30pm.
As with all our tournaments we allow late entries for one hour.

We average between 60 and 70 players every Tuesday.

If tournaments aren't your thing, cash games start early at Voodoo.
Our most popular games are €1-€2 PLHE and the mixed ROE with a minimum of €50 needed to sit down.
We also spread €1-€1 PLHE with €25 min sit down and .50c-€1 NLHE cash games with €20 min buy in.

Tonights tournament is the €20+€5 second life tournament.

Starting stack is 5000 with one re-buy or add-on of €25 for an additional 5000 chips. You can re-buy with your starting stack or less or just use it as an add on at the break. So you could start the game with a 10k stack if you want.
Clock is 20 minutes with antes introduced after level 5.
Reg is from 7:30 till 9:30 with an 8:30 start time.

Hope to see you all there.

Hi Paul, someone told me recently that Voodoo has stopped doing the Sunday night freerolls for a trip to Vegas. Is this true and if so why?
    Thanks

    Hi Monkeybonkers,

Originally we were closed for needed maintenance during February. After looking at the numbers for Sunday's freeroll, the interest just didn't seem to be there for, in my opinion, a great value package.

The decision was made to stay closed on Sunday's and re-visit the tournaments on Sundays at a later date to give players something more appealing.

This Sunday we are putting on a great value game with €3000 guarantee for a €60 buy in,. You can find the details here.

Thanks to everyone who played yesterdays tournament and a very big thank you to Nick O'Hara and Vegas Nights. Great game and great structure.
We ended up with 109 entries and a fantastic day of poker.

We will run this tournament once a month from now on so the next one will be on Sunday 16th May.

    Congrats to all who cashed.

The bubble was burst when 10 handed. Everyone agreed to take €70 from 1st, €50 from 2nd and €30 from 3rd to pay 10th €150. And then when 3 handed Barry Plunkett had the chip advantage while TJ Tracy and Kevin Brennan were closely matched. Some business was discussed and deal agreed giving Barry a chip-relative increase in a 3 way split.

So here's how it ended up...
109 Players with €5,450 prize pool...

    1) Barry Plunkett........................€1,400
    2) Kevin Brennan.......................€1,050
    3) TJ Tracy...............................€1,050
    4) Diarmuid Collins....................€500
    5) Ronan Gallagher....................€400
    6) Pavel Hemdryth.....................€300
    7) Declin O'Connell....................€250
    8) Niall Larkin............................€200
    9) Igor Wilk..............................€150
    10) Dave McDonnagh.................€150

    WP all.

See you all again next month
