Connection keeps cutting out

    Sorry if this has been posted before but I'm having some trouble with my broadband.

    Everytime the home phone is used, whether its an out going or incoming call, connection to the internet is lost. The light on the router for the internet goes red instead of yellow when this happens.

    We use eircom for both the phone and broadband.

    A primary cause if having the phone ahead of the router splitter on the feed line.

    When you assemble the parts supplied you must connect your line filter first; one line goes to the phone via another filter; the other line goes to your router/PC.

    It is possible to assemble then in the wrong order.
