Amazon are selling a HDMI cable for 60p, handy if you are buying something over the £25 to quality for free shipping. Otherwise its not really worth it!

    See Here

Feck, They just changed the price to £1.59, I suppose its still a bargain :(

Basquille delete this if needs be!

    LOL....good one.

Damn it anyway...bought a hdmi cable from Amazon on Friday for a fiver after I bought a blu-ray player in Harvey Normans for €99 (saw the same on in tesco for €199 this morning).

150 for a cable even a goldplated monster  only if €€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€ > sense

When I try to buy the cables it says they don't ship to me? What am I doing wrong?

The 60p one is from a marketplace seller and doesn't qualify for free shipping, so you'd have to pay £1 shipping on it.

You're better off just buying the £1.59 one directly from Amazon

link for the 1.59 one direct from amazon?

I've found that any of the ones on ebay all do the same job, just make sure to buy from a uk seller with high feedback

Looking at the price of some of these cables, it's really hard to know if it's all hype or are some of them worth mega euro?

All hype... The signal carried by a monster cable is identicle to the carried by a cable that cost a fiver

Would you consider buying a £100 usb cable for your digital camera so that you can get better quality pictures off it? Same thing with HDMI cables

I hear what you're saying but some of those shop sales people make such a fuss - you'd swear there would be no signal at all...

Tell you what, I'll get some in, mark them up to a more acceptable price and sell them on to you. Hell, I'll even give you a 10% discount because I like your face.

    Don't mention it.

wide range of HDMIs available from Kenable
    http://www.kenable.co.uk/?cPath=23_110
ranging from £1.99 to about 25 (for a 15m HQ one)

so why would you even bother buying second hand unless you could get it for substantially more :rolleyes:

You're doing nothing wrong. Many marketplace sellers don't ship (anything) to Ireland. I presume the original post's link was changed to a new link (without researching it all that well)!

Some good advice from other posters, none the less.
