    Hi,

Just a quick one - We are thinking of buying a site to build on and may have found a good one. How do we know that the site is ok to build on? Should we get a surveyor to test the site or does the vendor do this?

Pretty much all the vendor has to check is that they own the land, every thing else is down to you.
