Thomson HD box knackered, best option?

    My box is not working, have tried all the self fixes and checked dish and cables. What should I do next? Get it repaired if so where? Get a sky engineer out? what will he do and how much or cancel my sub and get my wife to re apply? Or any other bright ideas? Thanks

    if you go down this route, you will probably need a new hard drive too. It is usually trashed when the psu has gone and recommended by satcure.

    I replaced my psu over a year ago and still had trouble, so then i put in a new 500gb HDD and the box was good as new and is still going strong.
