    Just tell him that you are going to take your business elsewhere, if he starts to put obstacles in your way. Most of the PPs are accommodating.

    You should be fine, my SIL didn't meet her priest until the week of her wedding and everything was fine. are you getting married in your own parish or somewhere else? Ring the parish office on Tuesday and explain your concerns, and then see what they have to say.

    edit: just re read your post, have you lived in that parish for the last 5 years?
