how many pounds you talkin here? 4-5?

if you just clean up your diet you could lose that in around 5 weeks, probably less.

cut out some junk, exercise a bit more, basic really, just eat healthier all round.

it might help if we know what exercise (if any) you do and what your current diet consists of .. 88kg @ 5 9' might not be a problem unless its skinny fat situation.

OP, not to dismiss the forum's advice but mine would be to speak with your instructors and take their advice.

I know the club your training in, and those are the guys best placed to advise you on anything to do with your MMA training.

What I will say is that if your a normal & healthy 15 yr old and commited to your MMA (and didn't you say you were training in BJJ too?) I'd probably just stick at what your doing and worry about your weight when it comes tie for you to compete, at which stage both you and your club will understand your bodies needs more than anyone else.

Advice I'd give to any 15 yr old (I'm the father of two teens!), get out with your mates, curb the time spent on your consoles (and boards.ie!!!) and just be an active teen - but stick with your MMA/BJJ training, and it'll all fall into place.
